The punchline Diva

I feel it slice through my thoughts like a thin blade cutting lines of stress, through waves of energy undefined in anxious bursts like a racing track of speeding trains colliding with wild horses, where are their reins?

I see faces that trigger emotions to hard to define and then I feel the aches in my heart like it’s being stretched and torn side to side. Broken dreams, cracked faces, cracked hearts of expectations not found.

Heart broken. Disappointment rises like steam in the air. And a million great things could be happening all at once, but it’s there filling my eyes to water before I even know there are tears. Are you not healed yet? I’m tired of listening. How can you be healing others when you are still so broken?

The grandest things could be planned, the most spectacular fireworks in the air.

But there you are again, despair, feeling beyond repair, feeling like they sit and stair. And they laugh. And whisper “we are winning watch her cry” are there demons spewing poisonous lies?  An arial view shows a shark circling and hiding in the depths of the dark.

A trapeze act caught mid air,

frozen.

You let go but where?

Unsure of the net to catch you?

Below is so far down.

Can you stay flying?

Can you stay trying?

Grief.

Disbelief.

Shock.

Layers of emotions rising in waves, complicated answers not heard by impatient ears. Wanting a solution, needing a revolution, reformation anointing. Not disappointing.

And the diva comes in with her bright orange hair, a film demonstration of a punchline with flair and she kicks the aliens out of the race no more real estate in her mind for them is there they can hide, no.

She dances her way to a fabulous place, in grace and mercy she flows, delivering the captives and leading the show, to row to safety the ones that are lost, the ones that thought the ship had sailed, the ones caught drowning in the storm, pulled up in the nets of the one who calms the seas and loves every heart that says I want to see, the ones that he whispers to believe in me.

And I heard someone preach about a punchline, they said Jesus wants to tell women answers that are divine, so next time she is speaking take the time, she might just have an answer that your looking to find.
