Do you sometimes feel like you think you are going in one door and then the door keeps moving? Sometimes it can be hard to find direction with the noise of life going on around. I find when I put time into things like harp practice or art or activities that are peaceful for me then I am able to connect with God more easily and it prompts me to spend more time praying which is like charging our batteries to deal with the issues of life.

3. Learn how to shield your heart from the weapons designed to bring it down. I find that one response or comment can sometimes take me out for a day so learning how to keep a shield up while still being compassionate is an interesting skill to navigate. Being able to take our worries to the cross and have him speak into them is so healing and powerful when we think our problems are bigger then God we have the wrong perspective.
