So I was doing a journal entry for an assignment for a course I am doing at the moment and it mentioned that it would be beneficial to write the revelation down so that others could benefit from it. So as part of that exercise I am going to write a bit about that experience here.

So it was a devotional entry on hearing Gods voice and understanding the ways that he communicates with us. As I read through the verse provided I noticed that it coincided with the things said in the preaching I had gone to the night before and the activities of the things I had seen like the wings for my harp costume coincided with the words in the verse also. At the same time for example as I read the words Holy Holy Holy, I looked over to my calander and saw the words Holy Saturday which I had previously noticed that I thought God wanted me to rest on Saturdays.

One of the things it mentioned in the devotional was also about different ways of noticing God communicating and as someone that is vulnerable to their environmental influences I can get overwhelmed with a lot of conversations going on around me as my brain tries to filter whats being said. However in this case as someone walked past they said “Lift off” which was cool as I was just about to go to the Lift him up project I was involved in and had noticed a theme leading up to it about Lifting him up and him lifting me up also.

So at this nice cafe I had found to work on the devotional I went and got a drink that said it was healthy for my stomach and also had a reference on it to removing guilt. As the drink touched my lips I read the verse: “Live coals touched lips: see this has touched your lips, your guilt is taken away and your sin is atoned for..”

This is the interactive way I often learn about hearing from God, here he illustrated to me and hopefully you that you don’t’ have to carry guilt around that he can lift that off for you, and getting hold of that revelation can bring freedom to live your life in a way that lifts you up into his perspective and his plans for your life rather then being stuck in what you may of done that you didn’t think matched up to his or others expectations.
